About
Mapping India's health divide.
The Project
Whitespace India Health is a research initiative mapping public health infrastructure gaps across Indian districts. Using government data from the National Health Mission, Sample Registration System, and Rural Health Statistics, we score every district on three dimensions: health access, health outcomes, and infrastructure adequacy.
The goal is to surface the districts where health interventions would have the greatest impact — not through subjective assessment, but through transparent, reproducible scoring based on public records.
