About
Mapping India's education divide.
The Project
Whitespace India Education is a research initiative mapping education infrastructure gaps across Indian districts. Using government data from UDISE+, the National Achievement Survey, ASER reports, and Census records, we score every district on three dimensions: school access, learning outcomes, and infrastructure adequacy.
The goal is to surface the districts where education interventions would have the greatest impact — not through subjective assessment, but through transparent, reproducible scoring based on public records.
